My name is Pete and I've lived on the north side of Chicago my entire life. I'm a proud Democrat, I say "pop" and I prefer my thin crust pizza square cut.

I make a living doing things with computers in a suburb far, far away. I work from home when I can and dream of a day when I can get rid of my car. I'm a public transit enthusiast, and I try to ride my bike from time to time, when it's not being stolen. In my spare time I enjoy music, fine beer and White Sox (in season), among other, less important things.

I like brunches and book stores and coffee shops (maybe even all in the same day!). I like to cook vegetarian food (poorly) and go outdoors. I like bars. I dislike clubs. I don't like to dress up to drink a beer, and I like to talk about things while doing so. I can't dance, but I'll give it a shot. I prefer jukeboxes over deejays.

I have a cat, I've never ridden a roller coaster and someday I think it would be fun to open a brewery (distillery?).
